“The Prophet” - Parts 2, 3, 4, by Kahlil Gibran - Audiobook (Italian)
The reading of the second, third and fourth parts of “The Prophet”, a work by Kahlil Gibran published in New York in 1923, continues. Ekidna accompanies us (in Italian) on a journey through the book, narrating its weave of images and symbols drawn from every religion and philosophy. In his works Gibran sought to unite the founding concepts of Western and Eastern civilisation, touching on themes such as spiritual love — including his famous exhortation to love one another without turning love into a narrow prison, to sing and dance together while each remains alone, like the strings of a lute that vibrate with the same music.
