1. Tracking and profiling cookies
This site sets no profiling, statistics or marketing cookies — first or third party — and uses no analytics. Plain browsing therefore requires no consent.
2. Local technical storage (localStorage)
The site saves a few purely technical preferences in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or to third parties, and cannot identify you:

3. Third-party content: YouTube videos
Some articles embed YouTube videos. By default the videos are blocked:
in their place you see a curtain that sends no data to Google. Only if you choose to
load a video does your browser connect to youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s
privacy-enhanced mode): from that point Google may set its own cookies and process data
according to its
privacy policy.
You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Privacy preferences”
button in the footer.
4. Newsletter
The newsletter sign-up form, when active, is handled through Mailchimp: submitting the
form connects your browser to Mailchimp’s servers (*.list-manage.com),
which may use technical cookies needed for delivery. Subscription only happens through
your voluntary action and explicit consent; details on how your email is processed are
in the Privacy Policy.
5. Managing your preferences
You can manage consent to third-party content from the initial banner or the “Privacy preferences” button. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings.
